History
Building on the experience of the management of STP&I Public Company Limited (“STPI” is listed in the SET) who have been in the construction and real estate industry long before, together with its assets of over 1,000 rai of land in Chonburi and Rayong province, and the factory and warehouse buildings for an area of more than 300 rai at Laem Chabang Port, STPI has allocated a specific investment budget of Baht 3,000 million for the purchase of warehouses that are already built with high occupancy, including office building and shopping complex, to expand its business opportunity in this sector.
In late 2017, STPI established a subsidiary “ST Property and Logistics Co., Ltd.” (STP&L) to engage in the real estate development business and to provide logistics services by purchasing land and fully-occupied warehouses with long-term lease agreements, enabling it to recognize income immediately, for 2 locations in Lamlukka District, Pathumthani Province and Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
Subsequently, in October 2018, STP&L purchased land and an additional warehouses at Bang Bo District, Samut Prakan Province, which also had full tenants. In June 2019, STP&L has invested in the Summer Hill Community Mall and Summer Hub Office Building located at Phra Khanong BTS Station, Bangkok, where occupancy was almost 100%. Those investments have contributed to approximately Baht 300 million revenue in 2020. Additionally, STP&L invested in 2 additional Land Bank plots along the outbound Bangna Road for further Built-to-Suit development projects.
